veto/permanent member structure of the Security Council

[ European Journal of International Law- Discussion Forum ] [ Forum Help ]

Purpose of forum to the world in UN is irrelevent as long as there are permanent members in UN. Permanent members and rights of Veto only gives effect that they act for self interest and favor these countries. Should system of permanent members be abolished? Should more rights to the elected members be given? Should representation from all continents be encouraged?
