Professor Hagos brought up several important issues in his brief comment on terrorism and the role of the United Nations. I do agree with Professor Hagos that the United Nations did not fully realize its great potential as an engine for peace and prosperity in the World. However, having said that, I believe at the present moment we should concentrate more on the immediate problem we have with terrorism rather than try to redesign the United Nations. Maybe it will be worth while to ask Professor Hagos to elaborate if he has some other alternative sturucture(s) in mind to the system we already have in place. At any rate, I commend the EJIL for opening such a useful forum on terrorism. Thank you. Daisy Price
