InterrventionPosted by Mark Richardson on December 23, 2001 at 15:20:04: The concept of intervention was clearly changing over the long-term
prior to attacks, with growing exceptions to the basic rule of national
sovereignty, but to what extent can it be said there is a right to intervene in
a state which is home to terrorists? While this may depend on factors such as
UNSC backing and actual terrorist acts against other states, this seems
difficult to reconcile with established international law. |
